All Tech Is Human Announces Two Key Promotions
(Wednesday, June 5, 2024, New York, NY) All Tech Is Human is proud to announce promotions for Sandra Khalil and Sarah Welsh, two staff members who have played a pivotal role in growing and sustaining our organization.
“We are thrilled to announce that Sandra Khalil has been promoted to Associate Director of All Tech Is Human, and Sarah Welsh, PhD has been promoted to Program Director! Sandra will continue her work leading our Affiliates program and managing our organizational partnerships while Sarah will be leading our Working Groups in addition to continuing to head up our Mentorship Program. Congratulations to Sandra and Sarah for their exemplary work with All Tech Is Human!” All Tech Is Human Executive Director Rebekah Tweed said in a statement.
Khalil, who joined All Tech Is Human in August 2022, has played a pivotal role in community engagement, partnership development, and working to advance All Tech Is Human’s Trust & Safety work. You can read more about Khalil’s career journey in a recent feature.

In my new role, I’ll continue to lead stakeholder engagement while supporting internal agenda-setting for this next phase of organizational maturity. This new chapter in my career is not only an incredible honor but also a testament to the hard work and dedication I have put into this community’s collective mission!” Khalil said.
Welsh, who joined All Tech Is Human in April 2023, has spearheaded the Responsible Tech Mentorship Program to include more than 500 people in more than 68 countries. Her work will now grow to include working group facilitation and curriculum development.
“One of the best parts of leading the mentorship program and working groups thus far has been seeing how passionate so many people around the world are about the responsibility we have to make sure technology is safe, equitable, and accessible to everyone. These programs provide responsible technologists with a unique opportunity to learn more about everything the field has to offer, and grow their networks in our global community while also supporting each other towards a better tech future. I’m excited to continue helping people work towards those outcomes in their careers.” Welsh said.
