Cate Gwin to Join All Tech Is Human as Our New Program Associate!
We are thrilled to welcome Cate Gwin today as our full-time Program Associate, who will be joining our non-profit and be based in New York City. Cate will be largely responsible for assisting our organization with knowledge and community management as we grow our large Slack group for the Responsible Tech community, launch our Responsible Tech Mentorship Program in February, release our HX Report: Aligning Our Tech Future With Our Human Experience on January 30th, grow our Responsible Tech Job Board and new events calendar, grow our Responsible Tech University Ambassadors Program, and more.
Cate Gwin holds a masters in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence from Brandeis University, where she focused her studies on the intersection of technology and conflict. Her interest in the field is driven by her commitment to mental health, accountability, and social change. Cate’s approach to technology incorporates human development and trauma to systems thinking to examine the correlation between human needs, culture, and environment on complex conflict.
Cate’s hiring follows our recent funding announcement that is enabling our non-profit to grow throughout 2022. Our organization is committed to building the Responsible Tech pipeline; making it more diverse, multidisciplinary, and aligned with the public interest. We unite a broad range of stakeholders to co-create a better tech future. Our flagship resource is our Responsible Tech Guide. Our activities include running a large Slack group for the community to better connect and collaborate, holding regular summits and mixers, developing expansive working groups that release impactful reports, a mentorship program, university ambassadors program, newsletter, and more.
