2024 Ecosystem Pulse Report: Responsible Tech Demographics
All Tech Is Human has been committed to growing the Responsible Tech movement since its founding in NYC in 2018. The 2024 Ecosystem Pulse Report: Responsible Tech Demographics is a year-long project from our Siegel Research Fellow Sara M. Watson to understand the makeup and motivations of our large and diverse audience that cuts across civil society, government, industry, and academia.
This report explores the question: who are the Humans of All Tech Is Human (ATIH)? Our network is a proxy for the growing Responsible Tech and public interest tech ecosystems. Understanding this snapshot of our demographic makeup and growth over time demonstrates the development and impact of our ecosystem-building strategy.
This report aims to inform stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and community advocates, to foster an increasingly diverse and equitable Responsible Tech ecosystem.
In the report, you will find out:
What areas (i.e. Responsible AI, Trust & Safety, Public Interest Technology) is our community gravitating towards?
What are the top cities across the globe for involvement in All Tech Is Human’s sprawling network?
Recommendations for our future work to better understand the evolving Responsible Tech ecosystem and All Tech Is Human community
