Director of Education & Outreach, Hinge Trust & Safety

Are you a student interested in Facebook accountability? The Real Facebook Oversight Board (RFOB) is hiring interns for Fall 2023! RFOB is a group of prominent global experts, journalists, and academics, some of whom are the company’s fiercest critics, looking to hold Facebook to account (NBC). Our flagship research, the Facebook Receipts, is designed to expose Facebook’s activity in Washington D.C. and around the globe as it attempts to influence legislation and regulation. The goal is to pull back the curtain on Facebook’s influence operations that it tries to conceal from public view.

Program Manager, Bangladesh, Trust & Safety, TikTok

As the Program Manager for TikTok’s Bangladesh markets on the Trust & Safety team, you are the first point in contact that ensures our products, policies, programs, and systems work together to protect consumers and prevent abuse. You are based in Singapore and will work closely with internal stakeholders such as the data science team and policy team, as well as external stakeholders such as public relations and government relations, to implement regulatory and operational changes.

As a Senior Data Scientist in the Trust & Safety organization, you will drive one of Roblox's most important initiatives: Content Safety. With our large and growing number of active users on Roblox, safety and civility remains our #1 priority, and we are always working to ensure our community is protected. Content Safety aims to make sure that all components of the Roblox platform - whether they be experiences, a t-shirt in the Roblox marketplace, or text and audio chat - meet our standards for providing our users with a safe and welcoming experience. We operate at a massive scale processing billions of messages per day across different modalities like text, images, 3-d mesh, and audio. You will also collaborate and report directly to the Director, of Data Science on the Safety team.

Senior Product Manager, Safety Experience, Bumble

Bumble is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Safety & Integrity Product team to help build and improve the products and features that keep their members safe; promote kind, healthy, and equitable connections across our portfolio of products; and incentivize kind connections. 

You will partner directly with Bumble, Badoo, and Fruitz product teams to design and ship products to deliver on their vision of being the safest and most trusted connections platform in the industry. You will lead both invisible and also visible product initiatives that draw on your experience at the intersection of trust and safety policy and product.

Policy Manager, Trust & Safety, Anthropic

As a Policy Manager on the Trust & Safety team, you will be responsible for helping develop and manage certain policies for Anthropic’s products and services. Safety is core to Anthropic’s mission and as an early member of the team, you’ll help shape policy creation and development so that Anthropic’s users can safely interact with and build on top oftheirr products in a harmless, helpful and honest way.

Senior Machine Learning Engineer (User Trust & Safety), Canva

The Trust & Safety (T&S) Group's vision is to make Canva the world’s most trusted company for safe design. To safeguard Canva’s community, their T&S engineering teams build technologies to protect user safety and to prevent, detect, and mitigate abuse and fraud that could compromise the trust people have in Canva, such as unacceptable content, bots, account takeovers, and other abuse vectors. You'll be joining a fast-moving team, rapidly building and shipping safe and trustworthy machine learning-driven features to users and staff.

Systems & Analytics Lead, TripAdvisor

Tripadvisor is recruiting a Systems & Analytics Lead within the Trust and Safety team. You will be responsible for providing fraud identification and reporting, responsible for the management of fraud rules within the fraud rules engine. This requires a mixture of decisioning system expertise and advanced analytical techniques, with a view to ultimately improve our fraud management efficiency and reduce error rates. This role is both hands-on in terms of fraud identification and high level in terms of managing the systems that help other stakeholders identify fraud.

Senior Data Scientist, Content Safety Analysis, Spotify

Spotify is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Content Platform Insights team. Content Platform is a central enabler for the Spotify business. We deliver a complete, available and enriched catalog of music, podcasts, videos and more. Spotify provides the knowledge graph that accumulates differentiated understandings of creators, content, their attributes and their relationships.

The successful candidate will join The Content Safety Analysis team (formerly known as Kinzen), which joined in October 2022 after our acquisition by Spotify! On joining Spotify, we renamed as Content Safety Analysis with a shared mission to scale our understanding of the global content that flows through the Spotify platform. So that experts can deliver the high quality leads and signals we need to make decisions which protect both safety AND expression. The CSA team consists of two data scientists today. They are looking to hire a senior data scientist to act as a mentor to the others as well as being able to drive the work of insights in an ambiguous space.

Managing Director, Integrity Institute

The managing director will be an integral member of Integrity Institute’s leadership team – a chief administrator of their operations and programs; and as deputy, partner, and advisor to the executive director. You would ensure that we are ever-more effective as an organization and a team. This is a senior role that focuses on both upgrading the organization as a whole and on day-to-day people management. This person would be a core part of the leadership team of the organization, with particular responsibility for managing the heads of Operations, Bridge to the World (communications, partnerships, fundraising), and additional responsibilities with Research and Community depending on the organization's future growth.
