Research Fellow - Cyber Policy & Security, Chatham House

Working under the supervision of CPP's Senior Research Fellow, the ideal candidate will possess an outstanding research portfolio on issues related to technological risks to security and will help lead Chatham House’s ambitious research agenda. Chatham House is seeking a creative individual capable of undertaking complex research projects, providing incisive thought leadership, contributing to the Journal, conducting fundraising activities, maintaining excellent relationships with funders, and collaborating closely with a dynamic team of researchers. The Research Fellow will also participate in other projects, including working closely with other Chatham House research programmes and the newly established Centre for Global Governance and Security. This role might require travel within the United Kingdom and internationally.

The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Databases). The Wikimedia Foundation’s objective is to make the sum of all human knowledge available to everyone, and persist most of this knowledge in MariaDB. The Wikimedia Foundation project sites are some of the most highly visited on the internet, with more page views per engineer than any other site.


Program Manager, Youth Safety - EMEA, TikTok

This role will be responsible to support the development of best-in-class technical solutions for Age Assurance including developing machine learning models, implementing external solutions, working in partnership with TikTok’s Policy, Government Relations, and Legal, and onboarding new features and product areas across the company into TikTok’s Age Assurance solutions.

As (the first) Head of Engineering at FAR, you will play a crucial role to build and oversee a team of Research Engineers, who are working to ensure the safe and responsible development of advanced artificial intelligence systems.


Epic Law Fellowship, Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC)

The EPIC Law Fellow will fill an integral role in EPIC’s Washington, DC office. The Fellow will work on various EPIC Projects in areas such as Administrative Law, Appellate Advocacy, Consumer Privacy, International Privacy, Open Government, Surveillance Oversight, and State Policy. Creative, highly motivated, and accomplished law school graduates are encouraged to apply. 

The EPIC Law Fellowship is a one-year position to begin September 2025, with the possibility of renewal for a second year. 


Senior Research Associate, Machine Learning for Environment and Sustainability, The Alan Turing Institute

The Senior Research Associates will be key to conducting internationally leading research in machine learning. This role will be part of the Environment & Sustainability Grand Challenge, and you will be reporting to the project/mission lead and work closely with other Senior Research Associates, PhD students and interns within the same area. It may be necessary to manage a small group of PhD students and other early-career members of the team.


Senior Finance Manager - Non-Profit, Data & Society

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for managing the day to day accounting and financial operations of the Finance Department at Data & Society.  The Senior Finance Manager will engage with employees of all levels across Data & Society and relevant external parties.  This role is a central part of the Finance team and will support and report into the Chief Operating Officer; executing the strategy, vision, policies and processes set forth. The Senior Finance Manager manages the finance team and is responsible for their development, acting as a mentor and coach.

Assistant Director, Francophone Africa, Digital Forensic Research Lab, Atlantic Council

The DFRLab is expanding its work in Francophone Africa and is hiring an Assistant Director specializing in project management and strategic communications to counter disinformation across Africa, with a primary focus on Francophone West Africa. This position will play an essential role in growing the DFRLab’s capacity across the region, building on its ongoing work documenting disinformation and other elements of the regional information environment, and providing training for local partners. The Assistant Director, Francophone Africa, will focus on building the counter-disinformation capacity of regional partners across media, civil society, and democratic institutions. This position requires French language fluency.
