Microsoft is seeking a Brussels-based Director as part of its Customer, Security and Trust organization to help advance cybersecurity and resiliency both within Microsoft and across the ecosystem and help shape cybersecurity policy in Europe, including with respect to emerging technologies. The Director will engage with public and private sector stakeholders in Europe as well as collaborate internally with engineering and product groups to understand and help drive Microsoft’s security investments and prepare business groups for forthcoming security policy and regulation.
Director, Product Management for Player Safety, Electronic Arts
As the Director of Product Management for Player Safety, you will lead a small team of product managers focused on safety requirements for player-to-player interactions like UGC and communications. The team are experts in safe online interactions; they influence engineering resources but do not directly manage them. Your primary focus will be the short-term roadmap to meet EA's goal of a core set of effective, consistent safety tools for the most common UGC like text, image, and audio.
Senior Software Engineer, Wikimedia Enterprise, Wikimedia Foundation
The Wikimedia Foundation is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its team, reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager. As the Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing on the long-term engineering strategy in collaboration with the product team. You will contribute heavily to the high impact challenges behind innovating, building, and maintaining Wikipedia’s data feeds for high volume reusers. In this role, you will foster cross team collaboration where necessary to address business goals, keep the team moving quickly by designing and implementing necessary tools and services, and guide the team on best practices for software engineering and infrastructure reliability.
Assistant Director, National Program and Outreach, Council on Foreign Relations
CFR Outreach works to raise the profile of the organization and develop relationships with communities across the United States. Current initiatives focus on state and local officials; local journalists; college and university educators, administrators, and students; and congregational leaders and representatives of faith-based organizations. This position will be the first hire to build out an Outreach initiative geared toward the technology industry and issues at the nexus of tech and foreign policy.
The assistant director will work closely with the National Program and CFR’s Cross-Cutting Initiatives on China, Technology, Climate, and RealEcon to cultivate relations with the technology community and develop programming of technology-related events, under the direction of the National Program and Outreach Vice President and Associate Director. The goal is to provide a forum for technologists and policymakers to discuss the role of the United States in developing and regulating technology as well as technology’s effects on geopolitics and international affairs. Special attention will be paid to the ramifications of emerging technologies, such as AI, for government, the educational community, local journalists, and the general public, on geoeconomic policies, and on the U.S. relationship with key trading partners.

Writing articles, briefings, policy summaries, and social media posts, turning technical material into accessible and compelling writing for influential policy, business, and media audiences
Bringing a deep understanding of our priority audiences' motivations and interests into CAIF; helping to refine our communications strategy in the light of that analysis; scanning for possible openings and connections in adjacent fields
Maintaining and regularly updating CAIF website content with cooperative AI news and events, and keeping other website sections such as FAQ and “About Cooperative AI” up to date
