Ada Lovelace Institute - Public Services Research Lead

As Public Services Research Lead you will support the development (and then lead the delivery) of Ada’s work on public sector use of data and AI, as part of Ada’s mission to ensure data and AI work for people and society. Your role will seek to answer the question: how should data and AI be used by the public sector in ways that are effective, value for money, and socially legitimate. You will identify conditions which balance the needs of people, communities, frontline professionals and services, identifying where technology could be adopted or curtailed, building evidence of how tools are used on the ground. You will take responsibility for using that insight to influence how the UK uses data and AI in the delivery of public services, where they most impact people and society.


GiveDirectly - Product Lead, Platform (Staff Product Manager)

Tech encodes every aspect of GiveDirectly’s programs – from the way a field officer interacts with a potential recipient to collect enrollment data, to actually sending a recipient mobile money. We are making a big investment in our software for cash delivery, because we believe it can 8-10X how fast we can deliver our fastest programs, and improve quality and recipient experience throughout. We are seeking a Product Lead, Cash Delivery Platform to define and lead this platform. You will design systems and abstractions that shape our cash delivery, owning the roadmap across capabilities like survey building, eligibility & verification, fraud detection, payments, and case management. You will work closely with engineers, field operations, and research teams to design, build, and scale a system that ensures cash gets to the right recipients faster, more efficiently, more securely, and with better recipient experience


Glitch - Advocacy Director

Our mission is to ensure that internet technologies in the information ecosystem do not replicate or further discrimination to Black women and other marginalised people. We’re a Black-led, transnationally-focused remote charity, with the majority of our staff in the UK. We are seeking a highly effective strategic leader and experienced team manager. To be successful at Glitch, the Advocacy Director must demonstrate an understanding of, and passion for Black feminist thought, and the ability to translate this critical social theory into organisational work, specifically towards systemic change with/in: tech policy, digital rights, AI governance and legislation, and tech-facilitated gender-based violence as it relates to broader social media platform governance. 


IKEA - Digital Ethicist

Migrant Democracy Project - Digital Organiser

The Digital Organiser role is perfect for tech-savvy, strategic thinkers who have experience growing mailing lists, online activist management, running digital ads, and developing engagement strategies across digital platforms.


Montgomery County, Pennsylvania - Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Murmuration - Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer is primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our application’s core data platform and ETL pipelines, ensuring feature delivery aligns with technical standards and project timelines while prioritizing product stability.


NYC Impact Hub - Community Manager

We are piloting a 6–9 month coworking and community hub in New York City to support professionals focused on AI safety, animal welfare, effective giving, and other high-impact causes. The space will provide a productive, professional environment and serve as a hub for collaboration across events and programs. We are seeking a Community Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the coworking hub.


Portulans Institute - Research Fellow

The Portulans Institute’s Fellowship Program provides a unique opportunity for graduate students and young professionals to pursue independent research related to technology and innovation, participate in international policy dialogues, and form a lasting professional network. We are seeking two motivated Fellows based in the Washington, DC area to support the development of our publications and research initiatives. The Fellows will contribute to research, drafting, and editing, and will have the opportunity to be credited as contributors in the Network Readiness Index and the Global Talent and Competitiveness Index. They will also help track media coverage and events and collaborate closely with the Portulans team and subject matter experts to ensure our work informs and engages policymakers and wider audiences.


Tech Coalition - Lantern Program Director

Since 2006, the Tech Coalition has been uniting leading global tech firms to protect children from online sexual exploitation and abuse. Relaunched in 2020, the TC is a rapidly growing coalition of over 55 tech companies, including Google, Meta, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, OpenAI, Nintendo and Sony, that have made a mutual commitment to support and collaborate for the purpose of eradicating online child sexual exploitation and abuse. The Lantern Program Director will lead and scale the Tech Coalition’s Lantern program, the industry’s first cross-platform signal-sharing program focused on combating OCSEA.


Tech Coalition - Programs Administrator and Executive Assistant

Since 2006, the Tech Coalition has been uniting leading global tech firms to protect children from online sexual exploitation and abuse. The Programs Administrator & Executive Assistant will provide essential administrative and coordination support across Tech Coalition’s programs including Pathways, Member working groups, and more. This dual-role supports both operational consistency (e.g., onboarding, systems access, scheduling) and executive-level assistance to the VP of Programs and Member Success.


University of Stuttgart - PhD Positions in AI Safety

Join the Independent Research Group and work on AI Safety research, evaluate capabilities in large reasoning models, and discover novel machine behavior – especially behavior related to deception. As a PhD candidate, you will have the opportunity to conduct high-impact research and work on your dissertation while contributing to the development of safe AI. The project is located at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. We are dedicated to innovative ideas and to conducting high-impact research. Our goal is to understand novel behavior in frontier models and ensure that developers avoid safety and security vulnerabilities. You should be motivated to empirically investigate LRMs/LLMs and address research questions related especially to deception in AI models, particularly in agentic settings.


Verdance - Fullstack Software Engineer (Congress)

Join Verdance and help improve government digital services! About the role You’ll join a growing company working with a variety of government agencies to build high-quality digital public services. Your initial project placement will be on a small team working in Congress to modernize tools used by legislative teams to manage critical budget processes. The role will be hybrid on-site, with an anticipated two days a week onsite in an office of the House of Representatives, so living within a reasonable commute of the Capitol area is a must.
