All Tech Is Human Announces Commitment to Uplifting Youth, Tech, and Wellbeing
(July 12, 2023, New York, NY) All Tech Is Human announces a new commitment to empowering youth, tech, and wellbeing initiatives to strengthen the Responsible Tech ecosystem.
All Tech Is Human, a 501c3 nonprofit that brings together people, organizations, and ideas to grow and strengthen the Responsible Tech ecosystem, is proud to announce a six-point plan to address the need to empower and uplift youth in technology.
Youth are more exposed to social media than ever before. 97 percent of teenagers use the internet everyday. A majority of teenagers are on social media. Teenagers report feeling sad and hopeless. Due to these negative outcomes, it is essential to dedicate resources and provide opportunity to youth who are impacted by technology in order to co-create a healthier tech ecosystem.
To address these issues, All Tech Is Human is committed to the following measures.
Open-Access Gatherings and Summits: All Tech Is Human’s landmark gatherings and summits bring together thousands of people from dozens of countries every year. Our convenings feature an interdisciplinary group of speakers across a wide variety of disciplines to break down traditional silos, socialize ideas, and uplift new voices into traditional spheres of power. Our open-access approach allows a wide range of communities to attend our gatherings on an egalitarian playing field.
Our upcoming events are focused on empowering youth, tech, and wellbeing initiatives. These gatherings include our Responsible Tech Mixer supported by Mozilla on July 26 in New York City, a Responsible Tech Mixer in partnership with Crisp, a Kroll business, on August 2 in San Francisco, our Responsible Tech Summit: Shaping Our Digital Future in partnership with the Canadian Consulate, and Responsible Tech Summit: A Better Future For Youth in partnership with the Australian Embassy.
Build Community: Meeting established professionals in the youth, tech, and wellbeing space develops relationships, nurtures mentorship, and elevates new voices. All Tech Is Human’s monthly gatherings in New York City, along with special stops both domestic and international, allow people to foster connections. For those unable to attend our in-person gatherings we offer virtual livestream options, including our recent offering with Pearle and Allison about how to get your start in the field.
