Tech Policy: Associate Director, GeoTech Center, The Atlantic Council
The Atlantic Council is seeking a talented and dynamic candidate with significant experience in project management and research to manage execution of a growing array of global technology policy projects for the GeoTech Center. The associate director will play a central role in leading, developing, and organizing program activities including virtual and in-person policy workshops and events, issue briefs, special reports, and in-person, high-level private events.
The successful candidate will have a solid background in analyzing the transformative potential and sociopolitical implications of emerging technologies; a strong track record of managing projects, organizing programs and events; excellent administrative skills; superior writing ability; and a proven aptitude for global technology policy and regulatory issues. The candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, communicate effectively, and enjoy the fast pace of a rapidly growing program. The candidate must also be innovative, resourceful, and have a proven track record of fundraising as well as working with policymakers, business leaders, and experts. Previous publishing, public speaking, and media exposure on relevant issues is desirable.

Tech Policy: Senior Associate, European AI Governance, The Future Society
The Future Society (TFS) is looking for a highly-motivated individual with experience developing, advocating for, and/or implementing artificial intelligence governance mechanisms in the European Union. These can range from laws and regulations to standards or industry practices. This role involves monitoring and shaping the European AI governance landscape, designing high-impact policy recommendations, and mobilizing communities of stakeholders to advocate for them.

Trust and Safety: Associate Director, Advocacy and Partnerships, ADL
As a member of the Center for Technology and Society (CTS) team, the Associate Director of Advocacy and Partnerships (Associate Director) will be responsible for translating CTS’ research into impact through advocacy campaigns and by building and leveraging new partnerships. The Associate Director will work cross-functionally at ADL on crafting strategies for advancing ADL’s tech and society agenda. The Associate Director will play a lead role in maintaining and strengthening CTS’ relationships with civil society groups and coalitions and by building relationships in local communities across the US through ADL’s network of regional offices.

Trust and Safety: Public Policy Director, Epic Games
Epic seeks to create an engaging and safe environment for all our players. We’re looking for a Public Policy Director to identify opportunities and challenges across the global policy landscape to promote trust and safety across Epic’s products and services. The Director will work with governments, elected officials and civil society groups to advance laws, regulations, and other policy norms that enable Epic to support creator and developer communities around the world while creating fun and inclusive experiences for people.

Responsible AI: Senior Research Scientist - Privacy - Preserving and Secure AI, Sony AI
Sony AI is seeking (senior) research scientists to join our Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning (PPML) team. Our team mainly focuses on the fundamental and applied research in privacy and security. The role of a research scientist is to conduct innovative research, develop methodologies, design and prototype solutions, and collaborate with engineering teams to empower real-world AI applications (e.g., Imaging&Sensing) in Sony.

Responsible AI: AI Policy Analyst, Responsible Artificial Intelligence Institute
The Responsible AI Institute is seeking a highly motivated AI Policy Analyst. This is a full-time, remote position within the United States or Canada with competitive salary and benefits. Reporting to the Director of Policy, Delivery, and Customer Success, the ideal candidate will have a background in policy or business, strong writing and analytical skills, and an interest in responsible technology. The AI Policy Analyst role is integral to the RAI Institute Policy Team and an important team player in advancing the RAI Institute’s mission.

Public Interest Technology: Program Officer, Technology in the Public Interest, MacArthur Foundation
The Program Officer, Technology in the Public Interest, works with the team’s Director and colleagues on all aspects of the strategy’s grantmaking to ensure its success. The Program Officer will apply their expertise in relevant field(s) to the development and implementation of grantmaking strategies. In this role, the Program Officer will be called upon to deliver in a dynamic and busy environment, and consistently produce high-quality work; build effective peer relationships throughout the Foundation; work with other departments proactively; anticipate potential issues and propose solutions; offer assistance and service to team members; and present ideas for improvement and be able to create a project plan to execute these improvements.

Public Interest Technology: Elise Berkower Memorial Fellow, Future of Privacy Forum
The Technology Accountability Advocate will work on a variety of cutting-edge campaigns tied to artificial intelligence (AI), privacy, data, and competition in the Big Tech arena. With deep expertise in technology products, market processes, and emerging threats like generative AI, the Technology Accountability Advocate will utilize that knowledge base along with the tools of strategic advocacy-- lobbying, research, organizing, media and online communications-- to play an integral role in pausing the proliferation of unregulated AI, curbing excessive corporate power and reining in Big Tech.

Youth, Tech, and Wellbeing: Senior Major Gifts Officer, Thorn
Thorn is seeking a Senior Major Gifts officer to develop and manage a portfolio of West Coast donors who make annual, multi-year, special projects, and planned gifts to Thorn. The majority of your time will be spent cultivating and securing new major gifts in the $25,000 to $500,000 range. You will join a high-performing team that secures roughly $20M annually. Thorn’s goal is to double its contributed revenue in the next five years–growing from approximately $8M in contributions in 2021 to more than $15M by 2025.

Youth, Tech, and Wellbeing: allcove Data Systems Manager
The Stanford Psychiatry Center for Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing is seeking to hire an allcove Data Systems Manager to administer and support the data systems and procedures for the groundbreaking allcove pilot program. This position will serve as a lead member of the team developing and implementing pilots of allcove -integrated ‘one stop shop’ youth mental health centers in the Bay Area, statewide and nationally. Modeled off of successful international models, the pilots will create stand-alone, integrated care sites for young people ages 12-25 to access early mental health, physical health, substance use counseling, peer support, and education and employment resources all under one roof. With the guidance and support of a community consortium and youth advisory board, these programs seek to improve young people’s mental, social, and emotional wellbeing through the provision of high quality, integrated, age-appropriate, low to no cost care for teenagers, young adults, and their families.
