Senior Manager, Ford Foundation

The Ford Foundation’s Information Technology team seeks a new Senior Manager, ERP to join their team. This person will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) product portfolio and the success of the portfolio of products. The Senior Manager, ERP will manage a team of internal and consultant technical resources in the design, development, release, and maintenance of ERP systems for business functions or enterprise wide.  They will collaborate with senior executives and business unit management, business subject matter experts in Finance, People & Culture, Procurement, Legal, other IT functional areas, and outside consultants to build and implement business solutions, including configuration, implementation, and support of ERP solutions. In addition, they will prioritize enhancement requests and develop project plans and cost estimates. Reporting to the Director of Business Systems, the Senior Manager will plan, execute, and implement all projects to deliver intended business outcomes, ideally on time, on budget, and within scope according to business priorities.

Event Coordinator, EFF

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), an established San Francisco-based nonprofit organization defending online privacy and free expression, is looking for an organized and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join EFF’s fundraising team and bring the digital rights community together.

The ideal candidate has organized successful public-facing programs, is meticulous and detail-oriented, is an excellent communicator, and is passionate about strengthening the movement to protect civil liberties and human rights. The Event Coordinator plays a key role in bringing the world into EFF’s public interest legal work, activism, and tech development.

Director of IT & Educational Resources, Duquesne University

The Director of IT & Educational Resources oversees the COM’s technology operations and strategic planning, fosters innovation for instructional technology and online services as well as plans and manages projects and infrastructure in collaboration with Duquesne University’s department of Computing and Technology Services (CTS). Participates in delivery of technology support services at the COM for administration, faculty, staff and students and supervises others in this support. Ensures that information technology services and initiatives align with the goals and mission of the College of Medicine and Duquesne University. This position reports to the Dean of the College of Medicine.

Associate Director, Communications - United Nations Foundation

The communications team works across DIAL to shape our communications strategy, support the objectives of the program groups, market our products and communities of practice, disseminate our publications, and raise our profile. The Associate Director, Communications will work closely with the CEO and senior management to shape and ensure the successful delivery of an overarching and a program-specific communications strategy, in support of strengthening DIAL’s brand and advancing our policy and advocacy objectives.  They will offer expertise and hands-on guidance to DIAL colleagues to design and deliver communications strategies for respective programs, including messaging, content, and tactics across owned, earned, and paid channels.  They will monitor the digital development and wider landscape to identify communication opportunities and trends relevant for DIAL, its key audience, and the policy and advocacy outcomes the organization seeks. 

Digital Health Ethics Researcher, YAGHMA

YAGHMA is looking for an experienced researcher in ethics of research and operations in the health care sector to join our team that assesses the ethical, legal, and social impact of innovative digital solutions. You will fill the role of expert in the health domain, and hence have deep knowledge of current practices, standards and legislation regarding relevant to the research, development and operation of digital solutions for health (e.g. AI assisted diagnostic systems or wearable health-sensors). Your expertise will contribute to the further development of our sector-agnostic AI and digital solutions assessment tool and especially of the customization of this tool towards health care applications. The role is part-time, but can be combined with a role as project leader on overlapping projects to form a full time position. Candidates must show a proactive attitude for applied research, an excellent, relevant scientific and/or technical background, and a proven ability to work in a team.

Senior Program Manager, EdTech

You will be developing and leveraging open source technology to address complex data and integration challenges across a wide variety of tech stacks. Community Manager, US Research Software Sustainability Institute

The US Research Software Sustainability Institute (URSSI), a fiscally sponsored Code for Science & Society project, is looking for a Community Manager (CM) who will grow a thriving community of practitioners interested in the use and sustainability of research software. In this brand new role, the CM will be responsible for designing and delivering a series of online activities including a highly curated newsletter, monthly webinars, and a new website that will include guest content to raise awareness of relevant activities around research software training and policy research. The CM will additionally act as a liaison to help to recruit students for research software training, disseminate the findings of the URSSI policy fellow, and solicit input from a volunteer advisory committee. The role will also include organizing an event to showcase research software.
