Leading Responsible Tech Organization All Tech Is Human Appoints Alexis Crews as its Senior Fellow, Information Integrity

(Friday, June 21, 2024, New York, NY) All Tech Is Human (ATIH), a non-profit committed to tackling thorny tech and society issues while moving at the speed of tech, announces today the appointment of Alexis Crews as its Senior Fellow, Information Integrity.

“I am excited to join All Tech is Human as a Senior Fellow, Information Integrity because I see their potential as a global player in the world of responsible technology. As technology evolves, and the conversations and understandings of traditional platforms, artificial intelligence, information integrity, and the profession, as well as the brilliant people who work on these issues, continue to expand, I am eager to lend my expertise on platform governance, elections, and geopolitics.” Crews said. “My goal is to ensure All Tech is Human moves beyond being known merely as an organization that convenes, but one that leads the industry in responsible technology. I’m enthusiastic about working on workshops and one-pagers for policymakers, spotlighting emerging leaders, and highlighting global policy efforts to shape the future of technology and its support for humanity.”

Alexis Crews is the founder of ENOUGH Consulting and a strategist at the technology and geopolitics intersection. Her global impact was prominent at Meta, where as a Strategic Advisor for Governance, she developed frameworks for emerging technologies and led educational programs for the Facebook Oversight Board, focusing on global compliance and policy engagement. In 2019, Crews was key in the Regulatory Escalations team, overseeing global legal takedown requests, showcasing her proficiency in international regulatory affairs. Her strategic prowess was evident in the 2020 US Elections War room, where she directed over 200 specialists globally to devise an electoral integrity strategy.

Before Meta, Crews’ public policy contributions were significant. At the United States Institute of Peace, she concentrated on Countering Violent Extremism. Her research at Columbia University delved into Türkiye’s geopolitics and the Turkish Kurds. She led political outreach for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet in Colorado, influencing policy in foreign affairs, healthcare, and education.

Crews holds a Masters in International Relations, specializing in Intelligence and National Security from NYU, and a BA in English from Spelman College.
