Policy Team Project Manager, Centre for the Governance of AI

GovAI was founded to help humanity navigate the transition to a world with advanced AI. One way GovAI accomplishes that mission is by developing concrete recommendations for what influential actors (such as regulatory agencies and AI companies) should do today to manage emerging risks and opportunities from advanced AI systems. GovAI is looking for a Policy Project Manager to support that work.

As Policy Project Manager, you will work closely with GovAI's Head of Policy, Markus Anderljung; its Policy Team; and others at GovAI involved in policy engagement. You will facilitate policy engagement, boost the Policy Team’s research output, and support its smooth functioning.


Software Engineer (Innovation Lab), Consumer Reports

The Backend Engineer within the Innovation Lab will architect, bootstrap, maintain, and scale early-stage software projects that are high innovation priorities for Consumer Reports. This engineer will mainly focus on the Permission Slip by CR mobile app, serving as Tech Lead in addition to providing backend development support; about 20% of time will be devoted to other software projects across the Lab which could be websites, databases, or early prototypes.

This role requires a strong foundation in backend development, including expertise in designing robust and scalable architecture, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability and security of our systems. In addition to hands-on software development, you will lead by example and help shape the Lab’s budding engineering culture.


Tech Policy Fellow/Manager, Kapor Center

The Kapor Center is seeking to add a Tech Policy Fellow/Manager to serve as an expert primarily on artificial intelligence, machine learning, algorithmic bias, data privacy, and on other key tech sector issues as needed. They will ensure that the Kapor Center has a consistent public voice on relevant issues and is contributing to advancing equitable tech policy by adding to the public record and co-leading efforts with partners and officials who seek to enact impactful policies and would benefit from added subject matter expertise to do so confidently. Kapor Center currently works at all levels of government including efforts with the White House, Congress, and state government leaders.


Content Creator, Social Media Exchange (SMEX)

As a Content Creator on a part-time basis, you will be responsible for researching industry-related topics, brainstorming video ideas, writing video scripts, coordinating with the media unit, and creating engaging content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong understanding of multimedia production and social media trends in the West Asia and North Africa (WANA) region.


Responsibility Product Manager, DeepMind

As a Responsibility Product Manager within the ReDI team, you’ll be responsible for shaping and driving how Google DeepMind’s models are developed safely and responsibly, contributing to the responsibility ecosystem within the organisation.


Assistant Director, Program Management, Break Through Tech (NYC), Cornell Tech

Break Through Tech seeks an an experienced leader to manage the end-to-end delivery of programs aimed at preparing undergraduate women and non-binary students for technical careers. The Assistant Director, Program Management will be responsible for the effective delivery of one or more Sprinternship programs. This individual is expected to oversee all operations related to several key Sprinternship programs, ensuring recruitment and onboarding of industry and college partners, preparing all necessary resource and marketing materials and activities, as well as training, advising and supporting all program participants (undergraduate students) to ensure effective outcomes and high levels of industry partner retention and support.

The ideal candidate will build operational excellence while delivering complex and high impact programs for sizable cohorts of industry partners and students. They will consistently assess and make recommendations on program effectiveness while ensuring industry partner and student expectations are met throughout the program.


Product Owner, Maryland Department of Labor

The Product Owner reports to the Head of User Experience and Service Design in the Division of Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) at the Maryland Department of Labor (MDOL). The Product Owner is responsible for the end-to-end user experience for their assigned user type (e.g. claimants, employers, claims examiners), coordinating work across both technical and non-technical teams using an Agile approach. The Product Owner leads end-to-end service delivery vision, prioritization, backlog, and acceptance criteria.


Research Scientist, Lelapa AI

Lelapa are growing their product and service offering, by offering a large language model evaluation and responsibility service for our African languages, to internal teams and external LLM and NLP providers. Lelapa AI needs experienced Research Scientists who focus on the evaluation of such models from both a performance, as well as a responsibility perspective (model bias, AI safety, etc).


Senior Manager, Moderation Operations, Trust & Safety, Roblox

As the Senior Manager, Moderation Operations, Trust & Safety, you will play an essential role in keeping Roblox’s community and our platform safe. You will understand and enforce Roblox’s community standards and other policies regarding Developer and User activity on the platform. You will lead geographically and functionally diverse teams through challenging circumstances and you will engage deeply with Roblox’s XFN teams across Policy, Product, Engineering and others to help develop and execute solutions.


Manager, AI Governance Operations, CVS

The AI Governance Operations Manager is a critical role in driving engagement and enablement within the enterprise AI community. You will be responsible for promoting effective governance practices, assist in the maintenance and adoption of the AI policies and standards framework, streamlining and optimizing governance processes, and identifying actionable insights to close compliance gaps. The AI Governance Operations Manager will play a key role in fostering collaboration, driving compliance, and continuously improving AI governance within the organization.
