Communications Manager, Wikimedia Foundation

The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Communications Manager to help lead the communications for our advocacy and public policy work, and a number of other initiatives that aim to advance and protect the reputation of the Foundation, Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects, and the global Wikimedia community of volunteers.


Child Safety Enforcement Specialist, OpenAI

You will be a subject matter expert across all of our policies related to child safety. You will develop deep expertise in applying OpenAI’s policies in the context of AI-generated content, provide expert-level guidance on the policy compliance of content, and work on implementing and scaling review processes related to sensitive content. This role is based in San Francisco, CA.


Compliance Program Manager, Risk Ethics & Policy, Hinge

As the Compliance Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development, deployment and monitoring for Hinge’s compliance readiness program, focusing on existing and planned compliance obligations around the world. With a focus on finding creative solutions to innovate through compliance, the Compliance PgM will bring new perspectives to Hinge’s compliance projects while ensuring all compliance operations and project-based work is efficient and consistent with business requirements. This will be a first-of-its kind position at Hinge, and will require significant foundational understanding of the regulatory compliance risk space, coupled with a highly collaborative mindset with experience navigating complex organizations across multiple stakeholders. Formal compliance certification not required.


Incident Analyst - Trust and Safety, TikTok

- You will reconcile escalations by responding to and resolving diverse content safety risks and closing the loop with relevant investigations for those incidents;
- You will improve emergency response mechanisms while monitoring the reactive speed and quality to ensure better implementation of emergent action plans;
- You will master various back-end data systems to ensure safety issues are handled effectively;
- You will summarize and compile analytical, retrospective, or data-type investigation-related reports;
- You will lead projects to proactively improve the quality of back-end systems and processes;
- You will collaborate with global cross-functional teams to respond to issues, and communicate with relevant stakeholders to align on strategies.


Program Manager, Youth Engagement, Roblox

Roblox is looking for a Youth Engagement Program Manager to join its Civility and Advocacy Team.

Roblox is looking to further its commitment to representing its community voice through a youth engagement program focused on creating youth led content, capturing youth perspective, trends, and learnings, and partnering with cross-functional Roblox teams to bring valuable insights of youth to the table. This person will be responsible for managing the operations of the youth engagement program, including acting as the driver of Roblox’s youth engagement board, while also supporting the logistics of the wider Civility Team.


Trust & Safety Associate, Udemy

As a Trust & Safety Associate, you will play a critical role in handling the toughest and most sensitive cases. Your responsibility will be to enforce Udemy’s policies consistently and effectively communicate the reasoning behind its decisions. You will possess an in-depth understanding of Udemy’s marketplace policies, their enforcement, and the nuances within gray areas, which will be invaluable in assisting Udemy’s contract team with challenging decisions to ensure judgment and enforcement consistency. Furthermore, you'll collaborate closely with the Legal and Business teams to develop appropriate messaging for sensitive cases and facilitate the customer side of any resolution.


Scaled Engagement Lead, Privacy Sandbox, Google

As the Scaled Engagement Lead you will possess industry expertise to define and deliver narratives for companies in the Ad Tech (e.g., DSPs, SSP, Measurement, etc.) or Web Tech provider (login, payments, comments, content management, analytics, etc.) space. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sector-specific collateral and plans that result in broad ecosystem understanding and adoption of Privacy Sandbox technologies.

Senior Associate or Associate, Georgetown

The Center on Privacy & Technology seeks a new team member to support its existing work, help develop new research streams and advocacy strategies, and participate in training the next generation of tech-educated civil and human rights advocates.

Georgetown’s active program areas include: worker privacy, surveillance of immigrant communities, surveillance in systems of policing and punishment, and surveillance in the family regulation system. Georgetown will also be developing a project to expose and mitigate the harms of municipal digital infrastructure and the acquisition of algorithmic technology by local governments. Georgetown is open to the possibility of a candidate with significant expertise in an area outside of our current research streams but in line with its mission and vision, who could lead the development of a new project.

As the Head of Trust and Safety, you’ll manage Character.AI’s existing team of external moderators and build out an internal and external team. You’ll expand Character.AI’s moderation policies, navigating the complex content policy challenges of a platform where both humans and AIs create content. You’ll work with engineers and external vendors to improve Character.AI’s moderation tooling and add more automation.
