All Tech Is Human Program Associate Elisa Fox to Host Her First Panel at August’s Responsible Tech Mixer! 🎉

(Thursday, August 23, New York, NY) All Tech Is Human is delighted to announce Program Associate Elisa Fox will moderate her first panel for the organization at tonight’s Responsible Tech Mixer and Community Celebration at Betaworks in New York City.

August’s Responsible Tech Mixer and Community Celebration panel is focused on cybersecurity, public interest technology, and diversifying the traditional tech pipeline. It features Visiting Faculty + Head of Public Interest Technology Studio at Cornell Tech Lyel Resner, Senior Associate Director of the Vagelos Computational Science Center (CSC) at Barnard College Saima Akhtar, Senior Cybersecurity Program Manager at Ford Foundation, Founder of cryptoHarlem Matt Mitchell, and Chief of Staff at Silicon Harlem Claire Yang.

Fox has a decade of program management experience in a variety of sectors ranging from higher education to the think tank space. Her past work and research have focused on cyber policy in the global south and ways to bring different perspectives into the policy conversation. Fox holds a B.A. in Politics and M.S. in Global Affairs from New York University.

All Tech Is Human presents opportunities for its team to build the responsible tech ecosystem through its wide range of programs and services including Mentorship, Tekalo, Talent Matchmaking, Talent Pool, fellowships, and working groups. It also affords team members to engage with experts and civil society in conversations at our monthly gatherings in New York City and global summits.

The organization’s monthly gatherings support the growing responsible tech ecosystem, which was highlighted in MIT Tech Review

"Meanwhile, All Tech Is Human is growing so fast, with over 5,000 members on its Slack channel as of this writing, that if it were a church, it would soon deserve the prefix “mega.” The group has also consistently impressed me with its inclusiveness: the volunteer and professional leadership of women and people of color is a point of major emphasis, and speaker lineups are among the most heterogeneous I’ve seen in any tech-related endeavor." Greg Epstein writes.

You can view the panel discussions All Tech Is Human’s team has participated in this year below – and connect with more than 6,000 people across 75 countries on our Slack.
