(Tuesday, September 5, New York, New York) All Tech Is Human is honored to announce the inaugural Responsible Tech Week NYC will take place from September 11-15, 2023, in New York City.

Responsible Tech Week NYC is a first-of-its-kind week dedicated to bringing together and empowering the Responsible Tech Movement. Led by All Tech Is Human, a 501c3 designed to tackle wicked tech and society issues, Responsible Tech Week will highlight the incredible people, organizations, and initiatives responsible for co-creating a better tech future through a series of gatherings and gatherings designed to empower all sectors.

A better tech future is possible when we bring together a wide variety of disciplines and stakeholders across academia, civil society, industry, and government – which is why no matter who you are we invite you to join us live for Responsible Tech Week!

Governing AI: Developing Methodologies for Public Feedback

How can we govern AI at all levels - local, national, and global? How can public feedback help create and shape AI to serve humanity? This event discusses the current trends in understanding and regulating AI, with luminaries from industry and policy in discussion on applied methods of AI governance, including the recent White House sponsored Generative AI Red teaming exercise held at DEFCON AI Village.

Join Creative Commons in NYC on 13 September 2023 for a full-day symposium focused on the intersection of generative artificial intelligence, cultural heritage, and contemporary creativity.

Bringing together cultural heritage experts, contemporary creators working with AI tools, and platform builders: Our focus will be on the relationship between access and reuse of cultural heritage and contemporary creativity, and an exploration of AI tools as a new means of creative expression building on the commons.

Responsible Tech Summit: Shaping Our Digital Future

275 individuals across civil society, government, industry, and academia will come together in NYC to tackle wicked tech & society issues. The summit is focused on uniting stakeholders, promoting knowledge-sharing & collaboration, and understanding values and trade-offs to co-create a tech future aligned with the public interest. This gathering will coincide with the upcoming release of All Tech Is Human’s Responsible Tech Guide and is being done in partnership with the Consulate General of Canada in New York.

Featuring: Sherry Turkle, Julie Scelfo, Frances Haugen, Nabiha Syed, Sinead Bovell, Sabhanaz Rashid Diya, Theodora Skeadas, Camille Carlton, Samantha Bradshaw, Allie Funk, Shuman Ghosemajumder, Heather Evans, and more to be announced!

There is no charge to attend the Responsible Tech Summit. Because of limited capacity, we utilize this INTEREST FORM and then send out invitations. We aim to curate a good mix of backgrounds across civil society, government, industry, and academia.

The Responsible Tech Summit: Shaping Our Digital Future will feature two panels, two fireside chats, and ample time to share resources and learn from one another.
