(June 20, 2023, New York, NY) All Tech Is Human announces commitment to building the next generation of Trust and Safety professionals through five key initiatives.

Social media and tech companies have experienced rapid change in the last year. In order to promote a resilient, interdisciplinary, and multistakeholder tech future, All Tech Is Human will support emerging talent in the Trust & Safety field through our robust resources and programs intended to uplift new voices. Trust & Safety is an essential sector that promotes healthy online spaces, reduces harms, combats fraud, and builds trust in platforms.

To help support emerging Trust & Safety professionals, All Tech Is Human offers five accessible programs and resources.

Build Community: Meeting established professionals in the T&S space develops relationships, nurtures mentorship, and elevates new voices. All Tech Is Human’s monthly gatherings in New York City, along with special stops both domestic and international, allow people to foster connections. For those unable to attend our in-person gatherings we offer virtual livestream options, including our recent offering with Pearle and Allison about how to get your start in the field. Additionally, our global community of people can be found in All Tech Is Human’s slack channel, which boasts almost 6,000 people across more than 70 countries.

Mentorship: All Tech Is Human connects emerging talent to established talent through its free mentorship program, which provides hundreds of mentors and mentees across a wide range of disciplines a way to gain valuable experience, insights, and sharpen their skills. It’s a direct way for new and diverse voices to enter the tech ecosystem.

Multidisciplinary Education: All Tech Is Human’s free reports include the flagship Responsible Tech Guide, Tech & Democracy, and Co-Creating A Better Tech Future. The reports profile a wide range of emerging and established talent, chart career pathways, provide numerous resources and programs to learn and get involved, and are made possible through the support of our team and network of more than 100 volunteers. To date, more than 500 people have been interviewed for All Tech Is Human’s reports.
