Please Welcome Sandra Khalil, Our New Program Associate!

All Tech Is Human is thrilled to announce that Sandra Khalil will be joining out team as a full-time Program Associate, with a primary focus around knowledge management. Sandra will be based out of our midtown Manhattan location, where our non-profit is based.

In this role, Sandra will be helping to improve the Responsible Tech ecosystem through stakeholder and knowledge management streams. She is earning a Master of Science in Global Security, Conflict, and Cybercrime from New York University, with a focus on cybersecurity through a social science lens. Sandra previously worked on international exchanges for the Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Prior to joining All Tech Is Human, she worked in municipal and nonprofit roles advocating for historically underrepresented communities. Her interests are at the nexus of people and technology, with the end user being the most important stakeholder and driver of innovation.

With our recent event at the Australian Embassy (Youth, Tech, and Wellbeing) in Washington, DC, an event this week on Tech & Democracy with the Institute for Security & Technology and TheBridge, and upcoming events to celebrate the release of our Responsible Tech Guide (Sept 13) and on Building a Better Tech Future for Children with the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop (Sept 14), and a three day activation at Unfinished Live (our “All Tech Is Human Library”), Sandra is joining our team at an ideal time to leverage the significant amount of resources and insight we are gathering.

All Tech Is Human is a non-profit committed to connecting and expanding the Responsible Tech ecosystem so we can co-create a better tech future. We do this through a variety of activities focused around three key areas: multi-stakeholder convenings & community-building, multidisciplinary education, and diversifying the pipeline with more backgrounds and lived experiences. Our organization has a large community Slack group, regular summits & mixers, a mentorship program, university ambassadors program, open working groups that develop reports, office hours, a job board, and our Responsible Tech Guide. You can see all of our projects here.
