Senior Policy Manager, Partnership on AI
The Partnership on AI (PAI) is seeking a strategic and analytical manager, who is passionate about exploring the societal implications of technologies. The Senior Policy Manager will lead work related to AI governance and regulation, making a meaningful contribution to the design and delivery of PAI’s policy strategy.

The Partnership on AI plays an important role in working to ensure that both AI technologies and the policies used to govern them benefit and protect people and society. This role will work to inform global public policy, advance public understanding, and ensure the adoption of best practices by PAI partners and wider stakeholders to support the design, development and deployment of equitable and responsible AI systems.

The Senior Policy Manager will sit in PAI's expanding policy department, reporting to the Head of Policy. Internally, the manager will work across PAI, engaging closely with PAI’s programs and research team and Partnership development team. Externally, the manager will work closely with senior leaders from PAI’s Partner organizations in civil society, industry, and academia, global policy officials and government representatives, as well as international organizations (such as the OECD and Council of Europe). This is a full time role with an immediate start date.

EU Tech Policy Fellowship

The EU Tech Policy Fellowship is a 7-month programme that empowers ambitious graduates to launch European policy careers focused on emerging technology. 

At the core of our programme is a focus on ensuring the safe and responsible deployment of artificial intelligence and related technologies. Our fellows bring subject-matter expertise in these areas alongside a deep commitment to public service.

Senior Data Scientist, Community Growth, Wikimedia Foundation

The Community Growth team at the Wikimedia Foundation works to improve knowledge equity by supporting our global communities of volunteers through grantmaking, capacity development, and strategic partnership building. We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist, reporting to the Manager of Data, Learning & Evaluation (Community Growth), who will support the strategic work of Community Growth with impactful, accessible, and ethical data and insights.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work in a complex data ecosystem to build critical, resilient data pipelines and self-service dashboards and reports, empowering Community Growth teams and leaders to make data-informed decisions to iterate and adapt their support of Wikimedia communities.

Product Growth Consultant, Consumer Reports

Consumer Reports is looking for an impact-minded product manager to help us grow Permission Slip, a mobile app that helps users take back control of the data companies have about them. In this consulting assignment, you will help CR realize Permission Slip’s potential by collaborating on a best-in-class product that advocates for consumers, increases the public’s awareness of how technology works, and enhances our collective privacy and power. 

This assignment will involve running day-to-day product operations for the Permission Slip team for 4-6 months, helping CR meet ambitious growth and engagement goals. You’ll learn a lot about product innovation at non-profit enterprises, and work with multi-disciplinary, cross-functional colleagues to bring great product experiences to life.

Data Science Research Intern, AdeptID
As a research intern, you will be part of an exciting research endeavor focused on the intersection of machine learning, fairness, and workforce analytics. Your primary goal will be to contribute to a research paper aimed at publication at a prestigious AI/ML conference such as FAccT, AIES, EAAMO, Neurips, AAAI, ICML, or ICLR.

Tech Policy Fellow, Center for Social Media and Politics

NYU’s Center for Social Media and Politics seeks a Researcher (Tech Policy Fellow) to translate our research for policy audiences, enable researchers and policymakers to engage more deeply, and ultimately improve public policy and debate on these critical issues.

This is a new role at CSMaP, so while scoping the exact responsibilities will be a collaborative process, we want to provide a high-level overview of how we envision the role working to advance evidence-based public policy and discourse.

Vacancy Tech Mergers Project Coordinator, SOMO

SOMO is hiring a coordinator to lead the Merger Monitoring Project, together with a new global coalition of civil society organisations working to limit the power of tech corporations. The project aims to address harmful tech mergers, by monitoring upcoming mergers, and to organise a strategic response from civil society organisations. The coordinator will work with anti-monopoly and digital rights organisations, such as the Balanced Economy Project, Data Privacy Brazil, Open Markets Institute, and others from across the world, alongside SOMO’s Big Tech and monopolies researchers.

Program Manager, Bangladesh, Trust & Safety, TikTok

As the Program Manager for TikTok’s Bangladesh markets on the Trust & Safety team, you are the first point in contact that ensures TikTok’s products, policies, programs, and systems work together to protect consumers and prevent abuse. You are based in Singapore and will work closely with internal stakeholders such as the data science team and policy team, as well as external stakeholders such as public relations and government relations, to implement regulatory and operational changes.

Privacy Program Manager, OpenAI

As OpenAI’s Privacy Program Manager, you will lead the growth and management of OpenAI’s privacy program to maintain OpenAI’s compliance with relevant privacy regulations. This is a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the forefront of legal AI issues. 

This role is based in Dublin, Ireland, and OpenAI works in a hybrid office model, typically spending 3 days in the office per week.

Communications Coordinator, ICANN

The Global Communications Coordinator, Americas, will be responsible for developing written and visual content for assigned communications programs, coordinating participation in events and conferences, and supporting media relations for North America and Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, this individual will contribute to larger-visibility programs and help create and drive global communications strategies.
