Erika Cheung, key whistleblower for Theranos, to be in conversation with All Tech Is Human at Unfinished Live in NYC on Sat, Sept 24 at 2pm

Imagine being able to “check out” the brain of a leading changemaker working to build better digital spaces. The All Tech Is Human Library: Voices from the Responsible Tech Movement is a three-day interactive installation at Unfinished Live that allows both Unfinished Live attendees and the general public to actively engage with the inspiring leaders building a better tech future through a series of rapid-fire intimate huddle conversations with AI ethicists, public interest technologists, and integrity workers.

All Tech Is Human is thrilled to announce that Erika Cheung, a key whisteblower for Theranos and the Executive Director of Ethics in Entrepreneurship, will in conversation with David Ryan Polgar (founder & director of All Tech Is Human) during the organization’s interactive installation on Saturday, Sept 24th at 2pm at Unfinished Live (NYC, The Shed).

Erika Cheung is the Executive Director of Ethics in Entrepreneurship, a non-profit organization with the mission to embed ethical questioning, culture, and systems in start-up ecosystems. She is famously known for being a key whistle-blower reporting the medical-diagnostic company Theranos to health regulators. This account is covered in the book Bad Blood by John Carreryrou, 60 Minutes, ABC Podcast: The Drop Out, and Alex Gibney’s documentary The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley. She also advises and supports the development of biotechnology and healthcare initiatives across the APAC region.
