Apply Now: Announcing our Collaboration with Soliya’s Global Circle Initiative

All Tech Is Human is pleased to announce a collaboration with Soliya on its Global Circles initiative, bringing together young adults and professionals for facilitated discussions on tech and society issues. Soliya’s Global Circles is supported by the J. Christopher Stevens Virtual Exchange Initiative (JCSVEI). JCSVEI is a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs program administered by the Aspen Institute.

Global Circles is open to direct enrollment, enabling access for participants around the world. We’re excited to integrate dialogues on responsible AI, trust and safety, tech and democracy, public interest tech, and youth, tech, and wellbeing into the Circles. Participants can expect to engage in discussion-based activities, on-and-offline exchanges with their global peers, and develop greater awareness and common understanding of the challenges and opportunities pervading diverse communities.

Upon successfully completing the program, participants will receive a certificate of participation and access exclusive networking and skill-building opportunities offered by JCSVEI and U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

September Round Dates: Sept. 11 – Sept. 22, 2023
Live Sessions: Sept. 15th and 22nd at 2pm or 5pm GMT

Digital Transformation and Society: How do emerging technologies impact us globally?

This round explores the societal implications of digital transformation, such as the role of technology in shaping social relationships, education, and the future of work. It examines the impact of technology on identities and social interactions and the need to understand the key technologies behind digital advancements. This transformation has raised important questions about social relationships, privacy, security, equity, and the ethical use of technology, particularly in a context of imbalance between the global North and global South. The dialogue is meant to help us navigate its complexities and harness its potential for the betterment of individuals and society. Registration for this round closes August 27th at 5pm EST.
