Operations Director, AI Now Institute

This role is aimed at an experienced leader with the ability to design, develop, and execute on operational processes and practices that demonstrate and build on the organization’s values. The Operations Director will have experience with responsibilities spanning organizational planning and implementation, day-to-day operations and project management, HR, and finance. They will work closely with the Associate Director and in coordination with the co-Executive Directors, serving as an operational thought partner and proactively translating organizational strategy into day to day planning and operations. 


Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Automatic Speech Recognition, Sonos

As a Machine Learning Engineer you will be responsible for developing new models and algorithms for Automatic Speech Recognition leveraging and adapting the state of the art to Sonos Voice Control use cases, and maintaining & improving existing models in production. 


VP, Data Privacy, NRG

NRG is seeking a VP, Data Privacy to join NRG’s legal team and lead the management of NRG’s Data Security across the organization, including customer privacy. This person would play a pivotal role in managing NRG’s data office while managing data regulations across the country. The ideal candidate will be a lawyer with expertise in privacy, security, and financial services that is familiar with the evolving law and regulations around the country, can draft and negotiates data processing and security agreements, as well as think strategically around data usage across NRG’s businesses. This position allows you to work out of one of NRG’s designated office locations, which include Lehi, UT; Princeton, NJ; Houston, TX; or Washington, DC.


Research Fellow, Digital Ethics, Alan Turing Institute

The Alan Turing Institute’s Defence and Security has three aims – to support defence and national security agencies to keep societies and citizens safe; to protect the privacy and security of citizens, institutions, and industry; and to contribute to the global good by enabling societies around the world to derive benefit and prosper from emerging technology.

The Research Fellow role will sit within the Alan Turing Institute’s Defence & Security Grand Challenge and will work to support the UK’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory’s interests in ethics.


Information Accountability Analyst, Common Cause

Common Cause is looking for an Information Accountability Analyst to join its Media and Democracy team. This is a critical role that will play a key part in Common Cause’s pioneering efforts to combat online disinformation intended to confuse or intimidate voters and undermine the public’s trust in our elections.

Common Cause’s Information Accountability analyst will work collaboratively with teams across Common Cause as well as several partner organizations and its network of volunteers to analyze and combat disinformation, represent Common Cause in its coalition work, draft reports and share findings with partners, and support its work to center communities most affected by disinformation.
