A brilliant opportunity for like-minded individuals from industry, government and civil society to connect and exchange ideas. We’re all tackling the same problem from different angles, but our goal is ultimately the same.

Never before have I met so many tech ethicists in one place: a great opportunity to find like-minded people in any field of responsible technology.

The healthy mixture of people from tech, academia, government and civil society keeps proving that the right way to make progress in our space is to bring us all together, professionally and socially.

So inspiring to see how many people care about Responsible Technology and are willing to work for a better tech future! It left me feeling more empowered and optimistic.
— Amelia Kallman, Futurist, The Big Reveal
Intellectual mixology at its best. Bringing together so many like minds from such a diverse range of backgrounds. I was shaken (and maybe a little stirred) by the serendipitous contacts made and the enthusiasm for rapid follow ups.
— Martin de Heaver, Professor & Managing Director The Observatory for Responsible Research and Innovation
The event gathered people from all disciplines with a common desire to mitigate the ethical risks of AI. Everyone you talked to was keen to do and be more, driven with passion and purpose.
— Tess Buckley, AI Ethics Senior Analyst at EthicsGrade
Staying true to its name, ATH’s first gathering in London got together some of the finest folks around working on responsible tech across practices and hierarchies, to learn, discuss and further the mission of making the future of technology work for everyone!
— Megha Mishra, Analyst, Deloitte, MSc Social Science of the Internet, Oxford Internet Institute
Deep conversations about tech & society with remarkable people in the highest UK building = a night to remember.
— Maike Gericke, Co-Founder of Tiramisu / Scrypt
The London tech space is largely focused on industry, or academia - giving space to those working on responsible tech and allowing us an opportunity to learn from one another in a friendly, informal and engaging environment was just brilliant! Made more connections and learnt about more cool projects than at any other event in a while. Thank you All Tech is Human for hosting us all. Splendid evening all round and must be repeated soon!!
— Simona Sikimic, Acting Head of Engagement at the Oversight Board

All Tech Is Human has been building an expanded and more cohesive ecosystem since our founding in 2018 through a wide variety of activities around three key areas: multistakeholder convening & community-building, multidisciplinary education, and diversifying the traditional tech pipeline with more backgrounds, disciplines, and lived experiences. This allows us to transition from the current awareness stage (awareness of a problem, understanding root causes) to the harder solution stage. We have developed a unique “grassroots-power model” that rapidly distributes ideas & power across an interconnected hub while moving at the speed of tech.

Some of our activities include in-person summits & mixers, open working groups that develop reports, a global Slack community of over 5k, Responsible Tech Job Board, a mentorship program, Tech Stewardship Practice Program, university ambassadors program, livestreams, and our Responsible Tech Guide. Recent reports include Co-Creating a Better Tech Future and AI & Human Rights. You can find all of our projects & links here, along with the 400+ individuals we have featured at our gatherings and in our reports here.
